Accommodation

Mystic Hotels

We highly recommend booking a hotel near Mystic Village. Transportation pickup and drop-off for guests will be organized on the wedding day. Please book as soon as possible. Prices get expensive, and rooms book up.
Mystic Hilton Hotel: We were able to block 10 rooms under the name "Taylor Bollman Wedding".  Please reference our wedding to gain access to the locked-in price of $399 a night.
Howard Johnson: We were able to lock in a price for $231 a night. Please use this booking link to gain access to this rate.

Airbnb & Vrbo

There are many Airbnb options in the Mystic area. We also encourage you to check out Airbnb's near the wedding day venues in Stonington Borough. This would allow you to walk to the majority of the events over the weekend.
For more accommodation help, feel free to contact Anastasia directly via text at 860.481.9873

Transportation

Friday Welcome Drinks: There is plenty of parking available at the farm. There are also Ubers in the area. We recommend that guests carpool.
Wedding Day: There are no cars allowed at the Nathanial Palmer House (NPH). We will have bus transportation available from Mystic to the ceremony at the Stonington Lighthouse and then from the Stonington Lighthouse to the reception at the NPH.
Visiting from out of town: Please utilize the provided bus transportation, which will return guests to Mystic near the major hotels and to the after-party in Downtown Mystic. Those staying at Airbnbs in Mystic can park at the Mystic Village parking lot and will be picked up at the Mystic Hilton by bus.
Locals: We recommend that you be dropped off at the wedding ceremony in the borough to reduce the number of cars in the area. A bus will take you from the ceremony to the reception at the NPH.

More information on the exact bus schudle and stops for the wedding day coming soon.

Sunday Brunch: Consider being dropped off or parking on Main Street.

Travel Tips

Recommended airport: TFG Providence Airport is about a 45-minute drive from Stonington. We recommend Providence airport over Hartford because there is less traffic, and it is an easy drive along I-95.

Unfortunately, there is no public transportation from the TFG airport to Mystic. You can get an Uber $70-$90+ range, depending on time, traffic, and surge pricing, or using options like UberX or UberXL. If you are coordinating with a larger group, there are shuttle services that you can book in advance.
Traveling by train: There is an Amtrak stop in Mystic, which is a great option if you plan to fly into Boston or NYC. You can walk from the train station to downtown Mystic or catch an Uber to the main hotel area near Mystic Village.

Best restaurants in Mystic include: Shipwrights Daughter, DPI, and The Engine Room.

Best restaurants in Stonington Borough include: Water Street Cafe, Noah's, and Whitecrest. Dog Watch Cafe and Breakwater have beautiful views of the harbor, but their food is just so/so.

We recommend making reservations ahead of time.

Feel free to text or call Anastasia at least a week before the wedding for more recommendations.

Gifts

In lieu of a traditional wedding registry, we would be deeply honored if you could consider donating to either Barrick's or Anastasia's nonprofit of choice, both of which are close to our hearts and contribute to meaningful causes.
Thank you for being a part of our special day!

Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) holds a deep significance for Barrick, thanks to his sister, Dr. Brennan Bollman, who has dedicated her career to serving the most vulnerable populations around the world. She actively provides vital medical assistance in places like Haiti, Gaza, and the Central African Republic. If you feel inspired to support this important work, please consider making a donation in Barrick’s honor. When you click on the link to donate, kindly check the box that says “dedicate my donation” and list Barrick Bollman with email notification to [email protected] so we can thank you personally. Thank you for sharing this special moment with us and for your thoughtful support!

Ocean Cleanup resonates with Anastasia on a personal level and reflects her commitment to protecting the ocean she holds dear. The Ocean Cleanup’s mission is to remove 90% of floating ocean plastic by 2040. She invites you to join her in this meaningful cause by donating. Together, we can ensure that future generations can enjoy the beauty of our oceans.  Please check out her fundraising page in the link below.

Cards

Although not required, we invite you to bring a card that captures your thoughts, well-wishes, or favorite memories. We will collect these cards and turn them into a beautiful book that we can treasure for years to come. Your words will be a meaningful addition to our story, and we can’t wait to read them!
A card basket will be available at the reception.
